We automatically collect information about how you use Mayeutik. This includes which companies you view in the directory, which detailed analysis pages you access (revenue, trends, competition, prompts), the companies and prompts you save to your favorites, the date and time of your visits, the features you use, and your monthly usage count toward the 50 detailed pages limit.
1.3 Technical Information
We collect technical data about your device and connection, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URLs, and general location information derived from your IP address (country and city level only).
1.4 Feedback & Communications
If you contact us at hey@mayeutik.com or submit feedback through the platform, we collect the content of your messages, your email address, and any additional information you choose to provide.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

2.2 Platform Improvement
We analyze usage patterns to understand which companies and features are most valuable to users, identify technical issues and bugs, develop new features based on user behavior and feedback, update and refresh our database based on what users are researching, and improve the overall user experience.
2.3 Communication
We use your email address to send transactional emails related to your account including purchase confirmations and access credentials, respond to your support requests and feedback, notify you of material changes to our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, and communicate important platform updates or service disruptions. We do not send marketing emails or newsletters unless you explicitly opt in.
2.4 Legal Compliance
We may use your information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to lawful requests from government authorities, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our rights, property, and safety or that of our users.
HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
3.1 Payment Processing
We share necessary payment information with Polar, our payment processor, to complete your purchase. Polar has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your payment data. We do not have access to your complete credit card information.
3.2 Service Providers
We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the platform, including hosting providers, analytics services, and customer support tools. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.
3.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, investigate fraud, respond to a government request, or protect the safety of users or the public.
3.4 Business Transfers
If Mayeutik is acquired by or merged with another company, or if we sell or transfer a substantial portion of our assets, your information may be transferred to the new owner. We will notify you via email of any such change in ownership or control.
3.5 No Selling of Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

4.3 Aggregate Data
We may retain anonymized and aggregated usage data that does not identify you personally for analytical and improvement purposes, even after account deletion.
DATA SECURITY
5.1 Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include password encryption using industry-standard hashing algorithms, secure HTTPS encryption for all data transmission, regular security assessments and updates, restricted access to personal information on a need-to-know basis, and monitoring for suspicious activity.
5.2 No Guarantee
While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
5.3 Your Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for any activity that occurs under your account. You should use a strong, unique password and never share your credentials with others.
